I'm not sure what's scarier: Flava Flav or Flava Flav starring in a scary movie! Once noted for being part of hip-hop's most anti-commercial groups, Flava Flav has showed the world that maybe he was just the "comic relief" of Public Enemy.
On his come back since the 80's, Flava has managed to win over hearts in addition to turning VH-1into a real-ity of love channel. Now, he's starring in the DVD release of Nite Tales (Directed by Deon Taylor), which made its debut on BETHalloween 2008. A homage to Tales From the Crypt, yet instead of the Crypt, we get Flava Flav as the host of this double feature.
Next up, Katt Williams releases the audio version of It's Pimpin', Pimpin'(January 27th). A release off the heels of Katt's 100 City tour, which grossed over $25 million in ticket sales.
Unlike Flava Flav, I think Katt Williams has a lot of potential, after all he has shared the screen in a few box office hits including Friday After Next, First Sunday and Norbit, in addition to his comedic DVD releases American Hustle and Pimp Chronicles.
Whatever DVD you choose, I'm sure you will get your dose of laughter. Both men are characters who have succeeded in the art of comedy and pimpin.' I think the next move is to star in a movie together where you get a double dose of two pimps with a whole lot of flava. Now that's Pimpin'...pimpin'.
