The Recipe for a Perfect Christmas is one of the movies that Lifetime had available this week. I watched it one morning and I thought this was a great movie. It is said to be a drama but it does have some funny parts in it as well. I would personally say it deserves five starts because I feel that actors really played their roles. If you are into watching the Christmas movies this would be a perfect movie to add to this year’s collection.  This is the first Christmas movie I have watched this season but it is really a good one.

The plot of the story was good and from reading about the description of the movie I already knew that it would be something I liked. However, I feel that most of Lifetime movies are pretty okay to watch. Most of the time men do not like watching these movies so the women would probably be the majority viewers. Surprisingly, when I had went on hulu this movie was one of the popular ones listed as well.

Overall, this is a movie that I would recommend. The emotions just feel so real and you can really relate with the characters.  Then, there is confusion and mixed feelings throughout the movie that lead you to believe one thing is going to happen yet as it continues it seems as if the movie is going to go in the other direction. However, it is important to watch the entire movie because if you leave and come back you will be confused.
