What can I say? Cowboys! Aliens! Action! Lasers! Different! Wow!

Yes, this is a trailer review. Not a review of the movie. I haven't seen the movie, only the trailer, and the trailer is cool

Cowboys And Aliens is an anticipated action-fantasy-science fiction flick with Ron Howard and Steven Spielberg finger prints, and is based on the graphic novel created by Scott Mitchell. The director of the movie is Jon Favreau. The credited writers are Damon Lindelof and Mark Fergus. The studio logs the plot as: "In Silver City, Arizona, Apache Indians and Western settlers must lay their differences aside when an alien spaceship crash lands in their city." The trailer focuses on the stars Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford -- James Bond and Indiana Jones?

The trailer scenes hints of the new roguish Bond, but the Harrison Ford's character is no Indiana Jones -- does seems more scuffy rogue than classy hero. The interaction between the Craig and Ford characters gives the basic setup of the movie, as sci-fy enabled dude meets old movie Westerns dude, and hot Westerns gal, and bad Westerns dudes. The trailer does an effective job of setting up the main plot theme.

The trailer does the job trailers should do. It is an excellent trailer. An eye catcher and with hooks to draw folks into the theater.

The movie's scheduled release Date is July 29, 2011 Olivia Wilde, Sam Rockwell, and Keith Carradine are also in this movie.

I give this trailer a big: Yay! For being cool.
