Review: Trust

"The plot of the movie shows how internet predators can be just about anywhere online."

Trust is a movie that I had wanted to see for a while and I finally had the chance to watch it recently. I must say that it is an excellent movie and it is something that is related to what really takes place in our society today and it sends off a nice message.

When the movie begins I liked how it showed the instant messages out on the screen. At first I was a little confused because I did not expect this and I was trying to do other things. However, after going back to the beginning everything was understandable.

The plot of the movie shows how internet predators can be just about anywhere online. They will pretend to be your child’s age and even the parents see it as harmless chat. However, there are times when the “harmless chat” can become something so tragic and the parent’s end of blaming themselves when they really could have had no idea in the first place.

In my opinion I feel as though this drama had an excellent plot and the actors played their roles extremely well – especially the social worker and the father. Throughout the entire movie I was able to remain attentive and engaged. Not to mention the fact that I was actually able to watch this in one sitting without falling asleep on it – this is not something that has been normal on the regular lately.

So, it is safe to say that I rate this movie at 5 stars and would recommend it to others who like movies in the drama niche.
