Trailer for 'Anchorman 2' attached to 'The Dictator'

Grab the scotch! Time to hit the theater!

For fans who've been in a total frenzy since the announcement that Anchorman 2 was coming, it's time to head to the theater. Apparently, the teaser trailer for the movie will air before Sacha Baron Cohen's comedy The Dictator (which, by the way, is getting fairly decent reviews).

Here's the thing: The teaser-trailer will likely hit the web around the same time as it hits the theaters, so if you have zero desire to see The Dictator, then no worries. You'll get your Ron Burgundy/Channel 4 News Team fix soon enough.
Keep in mind that a teaser trailer is often much shorter than an average movie trailer, so I wouldn't expect too much from the new one for Anchorman 2. That being said, I DO expect great, great things from this sequel. It's going to be hard to top the original, or even measure up to it. I always cringe just a little whenever a sequel for a great original film gets green lighted. I definitely did that when Anchorman 2 was confirmed.

We don't know much about the actual Anchorman 2 trailer yet, save for what was said about it following advanced screenings late last week. But there are a few hints.

*Spoiler Alert*

Thought I'd warn you, just in case. Collider's source says that the Anchorman 2 teaser features all members of Channel 4's news team, except Veronica (Christina Applegate). They're "stating how excited they are to return." Interestingly enough, the source also says that the "screen title read Anchorman: The Legend Continues." I absolutely think that's going to be the title -- it just fits.

Anchorman fans, will you go see The Dictator just to get a look at the new teaser trailer for the sequel? I am thinking about seeing The Dictator anyway, and this just might push me over the edge and get me to the theater, at least for a matinee.
